Places to visit

The location of the house will allow you to easily and quickly reach many places of historic, architectural and naturalistic interest. Here are some suggestions (to view the route, click on the desired location):

  • "La Tortuga" park (1 km): a small amusement park with inflatable games, swimming pool and relaxation area.

  • Piazzola sul Brenta (11 km): with the magnificent Villa Contarini and its gardens.

  • Arquà Petrarca (37 km): in the Euganean hills, home of the famous poet Petrarca, set in a wonderful landscape.

  • Abano Terme (15 km) and Montegrotto Terme (22 km): pethese two spa towns are ideal for those interested in thermal cures
    or to visit the Butterfly Arc

  • Este (42 km) , Cittadella (25 km) and Montagnana (58 km): these less well-known but fascinating medieval walled towns are easily reachable. Montagnana is also known for its delicious cured ham (prosciutto) which rivals the better known Parma prosciutto.

  • Asolo (55 km): a medieval city, in Treviso province, perched on the trevisian hills and dominated by an imposing fortress.

  • Soave (55 km): magnificent small city in Verona province whose medieval walls have been largely restored  and which is well known for the production of the Soave and Recioto wines.

  • Montecchio Maggiore (37km): with the castles of Romeo and Giulette whose story inspired William Shakespeare.

  • Bassano del Grappa (41 km): a small hill city, in Vicenza province, which is known as a
    meeting place for the Alpine Military Brigade who congregate at their famous wooden bridge.
    Bassano is also famous for the production of grappa and asparagus.

  • Padua (10 km), Vicenza (34 km), Venice (55 km) and Verona (80 km): these famous cities are easily reachable by car or by public transport so that you can admire their artistic heritage and visit the regular exhibitions and trade fairs.
